FINAL DEADLINE FOR EVERYTHING APPROACHING!

AS YOU SHOULD BE AWARE, THE ABSOLUTELY FINAL DEADLINE FOR EVERY PART OF YOUR COURSEWORK IS EITHER WEDNESDAY OR THURSDAY THIS WEEK, DEPENDING ON WHETHER YOUR FIRST LESSON THIS TERM WAS WEDNESDAY OR THURSDAY LAST WEEK. IF YOU ARE IN ANY DOUBT, LOOK AT YOUR NOTES FROM LAST WEEK'S LESSON, SPEAK TO A CLASS MEMBER OR ME TO CHECK.
THERE CAN BE NO FURTHER WORK ON THE BLOG AFTER THAT DATE, AND MARKING WILL BE FINALISED.

MY SUGGESTIONS FOR IMPROVEMENTS TO PRODUCTS

I AM ALLOWING GROUPS TO MAKE SMALL BUT SIGNIFICANT IMPROVEMENTS TO  PRODUCTS WHICH OTHERWISE MIGHT UNDERMINE FINAL GRADES. FOR SOME GROUPS THIS IS MORE CRUCIAL THAN OTHERS.
YOU WILL ONLY BE ALLOWED UNTIL 4.30 THIS FRIDAY JANUARY 6th TO DO THIS.
ANY CHANGES MUST BE NOTIFIED TO ME AND SOPHIE, AND IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO ENSURE THAT THE CORRECT VERSION IS IN THE COMPLETED FOLDER, YOUTUBE AND THE BLOG (IF IT IS NOT, THERE IS A VERY REAL RISK THAT THE WRONG VERSION WILL BE MARKED AND SENT TO THE EXTERNAL EXAMINER).

JOE, ALEX, IMOGEN - move title frame to start; try to level shot in dark room
ELLIOT, MAX, TONY, MATT - final shot needs to be held for longer; improvements are needed to the Review template
SAM, TOM, JORDAN - extend the last shot. Use smaller font for end credits; improvements needed to review template
MARIA, JESS, TASHA - consider adding an establishing shot; correct typo in titles; consider cutting first pier sequence by a few seconds
NATHAN, EMILY, NEVE, HARRY -no significant issues
OSCAR, EROL, JACOB - correct inbalance in sound levels; last shot of film needs stabilising (or discuss another editing technique with me to improve); countdown technique at start will need careful justification in evaluation; improvements needed to the review (see blog)
SAM, CHAYANA, MEL- check sound is copyright free; check sound synching at the end; review needs slight corrections (typo and no page numbers)
SAM, CONNOR, JAKE - no significant issues

FINAL PRODUCTS' DEADLINE APPROACHING!

AS YOU KNOW, THE DEADLINE FOR THE SHORT FILM, THE MINIMUM OF 2 POSTERS, AND THE REVIEW IS THIS THURSDAY, DECEMBER 15th @ MIDNIGHT.

YOU WILL BE COMPLETING YOUR OWN INDIVIDUAL EVALUATION OVER CHRISTMAS. SEE LESSON ADVICE AND EVALUATION BOOKLET FOR GUIDANCE ON THIS FINAL STAGE.
GOOD LUCK!
