DRAFT EVALUATION FEEDBACK

I'll be looking closely at all of the drafts (or part of) posted by the deadline, and giving feedback. Please look for comments on the blog, or emails (mostly on the blog). Then, obviously, you'll need to do as I suggest. A disappointing number of people only posted a small part of the evaluation, or in some cases, rather incredibly, nothing at all! Priority will be given to those who posted by the deadline, and if you were late, unless I think there was a very good reason, you can expect less time to be spent by me on giving advice.
Before you submit the final evaluation, check that you are actually answering the question set fully. Too many people are simply describing or identifying techniques, rather than analysing, explaining, comparing, applying theory and using terms.  This must also apply to the prezi. This should have many 'landing points' (possibly up to 30), which explain what you used and HOW. The objectives for assessment are all in the assessment criteria. See the link on moodle if you want to look at these again.

Labelling Work

Please make sure that your Final Short Film, Final Poster and Final Review are labelled as such in your title for the post.
Also, please ensure that the review and poster can be read on the blog by anyone assessing it.
Thanks.

EVALUATION DRAFT DEADLINE IS TOMORROW!

Michael Fassbender at the BAFTAS - his short film 'Pitch Black Heist' won best short.
Your individual Evaluation drafts must be posted by the end of tomorrow. Please make this your best effort, and we will give you quality feedback to improve.
If you are unclear about length, take a look at a level 4 blog from last year at the top of my links to the right.

THE FINAL DEADLINE FOR PRODUCTS HAS NOW PASSED

All 3 products should have been uploaded to your blog by the deadline on Friday February 10th. The only exceptions to this will be for groups where an extension has been discussed and agreed with me.

You should now be working on your draft EVALUATIONS, for which you were given guidance last week. The DEADLINE  for these INDIVIDUAL drafts is Monday, February 20th.
If you followed my link earlier for Fassbender's BAFTA nominated short film (see link to right), you may have been aware that it won the award for best short film last week:

We hope your tagline is better than this!
LOOK!
TIME IS RUNNING OUT!
FRIDAY IS THE FINAL DEADLINE FOR THE FILM, POSTER AND REVIEW. Check my comments to ensure that you have improved material.
This week, you will be getting advice on completing your draft evaluation over half term, and on preparing for A MOCK EXAM ON QUESTIONS 1a and 1b immediately after half term.

If you haven't watched it yet, click on the link on the right to a short film about the making of Little White Lies magazine. It's very good!
